    1. Introduction

    Here at Bringsy, your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy is provided so that we may better explain our privacy practices, and inform you of your choices regarding the way your information is collected and used.
    When you use our Site and/or our Services (“Site/Services”) you are expressly and voluntarily accepting and agreeing to our processing of your information in ways set out by this Privacy Policy. Supplying information to us, including any information deemed sensitive by applicable law, is entirely voluntary on your part. You have the right to withdraw your consent to Bringsy’s collection and processing of the information you provide at any time, in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. You expressly give your consent to our usage and storage of your information consistent with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

    2.1. “Bringsy,” “our,” “us” or “we” refers to Bringsy Inc., a Delaware corporation.
    2.2. “You” or “your” refers to the person accessing or using the Services/Site, or the entity or organization on whose behalf such person accesses the Services/Site.
    2.3. “Information” addressed in this Privacy Policy collectively refers to personal, non-identifiable information, and any other data, including data attachments, that you submit to us.
    2.4. “Personal information” is information that is unique to you, and that may be used to identify you, such as your name or e-mail.
    2.5. “Non-identifiable information” is information that is only general information about your usage and profile, such as your location or gender.
    2.6. “Data attachments” is data that you may attach, such as legal documents, for delivery.

    3.1. Scope of Collection
    This online Privacy Policy applies to information collected when you use our:
    3.1.1. “Services,” which encompasses your use of our technology platform (“Platform”). See Sections 1 and 2 of the Terms and Conditions for further explanation of our Services; and

    3.2. Voluntary Disclosure
    We collect information that you provide us with voluntarily. For example, though you may visit our Site or Platform anonymously, to fully utilize our Services, you must provide personal and non-identifiable information including but not limited to your name, e-mail address, delivery address, phone number, and location. We will also collect any additional information you provide such as reviews, ratings, comments, and postings, that you submit to our Site.
    3.3. Purpose of Collection
    Any and all information we gather is for the purpose of customizing the Bringsy experience for you, our customer, and is not shared or sold to any third parties, except as expressly provided for in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

    4. What Do We Do With Your Information?

    In general, the personal and non-identifiable information you provide is used to create a better user experience and improve our Services/Site’s overall functionality. Within that context, Bringsy uses personal and non-identifiable information for the following purposes:
    4.1. for billing, identification, authentication, and fraud prevention;
    4.2. to analyze Services/Site usage and improve our Services/Site;
    4.3. to deliver communications relevant to your usage of our Services/Site;
    4.4. for internal market research, detecting criminal activity, and troubleshooting problems;
    4.5. to enforce our Terms of Service;
    4.6. to conduct research on our Services;
    4.7. to personalize your experience and improve customer service;
    4.8. to provide promotional or targeted offers based on locations that actively use Bringsy; and
    4.9. we use financial information solely as authorized by you in accordance with the service.

    5. How Do We Protect Your Information?

    5.1. Safeguards
    Bringsy takes the protection of your information seriously, and we have put into place appropriate industry-standard electronic, physical, and procedural safeguards to secure the information.
    5.2. Security Measures
    We also maintain a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your information. After a transaction, your private information (credit card number) will not be stored on our servers, and is always transmitted in encrypted form. Only certain authorized Bringsy staff can access personal and non-identifiable information, and then only if relevant to their job duties.
    5.3. Breach of Security
    In the event that personal information is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will promptly notify those persons whose personal information has been compromised.
    5.4. Disclaimer
    Unfortunately, no information transmission over the Internet can be characterized as 100% secure. While Bringsy uses all commercially reasonable efforts to ensure information security, Bringsy cannot guarantee the security of any information you choose to provide to us, and you do so at your own risk.
    We expressly disclaim any liability should any other individuals obtain the information you submitted to us. For any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers or any personal and financial information stored therein, you agree to hold Bringsy harmless for any damages that may result therefrom.

    6. Do We Disclose Any information To Outside Parties?

    6.1. Contracted Parties
    We will generally transfer your information to contracted third parties who assist us in operating our Services/Site, including contracted Sellers and Couriers as defined our Terms of Service. We require that all contracted third parties similarly agree to keep your information confidential.
    6.2. Personal Information, Data Attachments
    Notwithstanding transfers to contracted third parties who assist us in operating our Services/Site, we do not transfer, sell, or trade your personal information or data attachments to outside parties.
    6.3. Non-identifiable Information
    We reserve the right to provide your non-identifiable information to outside parties to help us improve our Services. For example, through Google Analytics we may permit Google and others to combine their information with ours to help us better understand our users.
    6.4. Sale or Merger
    We reserve the right to transfer, sell or distribute all information collected through our Services/Site to an affiliate, subsidiary, or third party in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or part of our business, assets or stock. We will use our best efforts to ensure that the new entity follows this Privacy Policy with respect to your information, as and to the extent required by applicable law.
    6.5. Law or Good Faith Belief
    We reserve the right to disclose certain information at our discretion if required by law, or if we are given reason to believe in our sole discretion that someone is causing injury to or interference with the rights of users, the general public, or Bringsy, to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that disclosure is necessary to:
    6.5.1. satisfy legal obligations or comply with legal process (such as a subpoena) served on Bringsy;
    6.5.2. protect Bringsy and others from fraudulent, abusive, predatory, or unlawful uses or activity;
    6.5.3. investigate and defend Bringsy against any legal claims or threats;
    6.5.4. protect and defend the rights or property of Bringsy;
    6.5.5. take action relating to user complaints; or
    6.5.6. act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Bringsy, our Services/Site and policies, or the public.

    7. Information Retention (double check since storing legal docs)

    Bringsy generally deletes or de-personalizes all information within 30 days. Bringsy will retain the information you provide as needed to provide you services. Bringsy may retain your information if retention is reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations, meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. We may retain information, for a limited period of time, if requested by law enforcement.

    8. Other Technologies

    Bringsy may collect your IP address, which is a number assigned to your computer. These are used to monitor geographic traffic for users and combat fraud.

    9. Third-Party Links

    Our Site may contain links to the sites of third-party providers of goods or services. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies; therefore, we have no responsibility or liability for the personal information provided to these linked sites. Additionally, we do not have access or control over third-party usage of information or tracking technologies. If you land upon a third-party site, we recommend that you review their privacy policy and terms of service prior to engaging with their site.

    10. California’s Shine the Light Law

    Bringsy does not share any of your personal information or data attachments with third parties for direct marketing. California Civil Code Section 1798.83, known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our customers who are California residents to request and obtain from us a list of what personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year and the names and addresses of those third parties. Requests may be made only once a year and are free of charge. Under Section 1798.83, Bringsy currently does not share any personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

    11. Modification To Our Privacy Policy

    This Privacy Policy is subject to revision at our discretion, as necessary. If we make any material changes in the way your information is collected, used or disseminated, we will post an alert on this page and update the modification date below. We will do our best to notify you of these changes either by e-mail or additional alerts on our Services/Site. Continued use of Bringsy indicates your acknowledgement of such changes and agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of such changes. This policy was last modified on January 19, 2016.
